The Internet is an incubator of innovations. This page is a running log
of those ideas, projects and products that fascinate, intrigue and
amaze me. Wednesday, December 29, 1999 This web-site will be undergoing major reconstruction over the next few days, that will make this the last post until Monday of the New Year. Happy New Year!!!See ya in 2000!!! Posted 1:49:45 PM EST Tuesday, December 28, 1999 Another great reason to try Zope - Squishdot a Zope weblog product. Posted 1:59:52 PM EST Monday, December 27, 1999 Doxygen is a cross-platform, JavaDoc-like documentation system for C, C++, and IDL. Doxygen can be used to generate an on-line class browser (in HTML) and/or an off-line reference manual (in LaTeX) from a set of source files. There is also support for generating man pages and for converting the generated output into Postscript, hyperlinked PDF or compressed HTML. Posted 7:46:25 PM EST Build your own universe with Python Universe Builder - MUDs, text-based adventure games or interactive fiction Posted 4:13:53 PM EST Sunday, December 26, 1999 Looking for Netscape Navigator 1.1 or the original Mosaic browsers head over to The evolt.org Browser Archive Posted 7:31:42 PM EST By the way the W3C also provides HTML Validation Service Posted 12:44:52 AM EST I just came across a tool that should be part of every web designer’s, logger’s, programmer’s, coder’s and developer’s toolkit: When editing HTML it's easy to make mistakes. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a simple way to fix these mistakes automatically and tidy up sloppy editing into nicely layed out markup? Well now there is! Dave Raggett's HTML TIDY is a free utility for doing just that. It also works great on the atrociously hard to read markup generated by specialized HTML editors and conversion tools, and can help you identify where you need to pay further attention on making your pages more accessible to people with disabilities.
I looks like this site can use a bit of tidying. Time to get to work!!!
